Updates on ICT matters in Sarawak State Public Service

The State Information Technology and Resources Council (SITRC) recently organised a luncheon cum media conference with members of the local mass media.

The objective of the luncheon was to share with the local mass media, updates of the State Government's ICT programs.

The Chairman of SITRC, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr George Chan Hong Nam led the panel team consisting of Datuk amar Abdul Aziz Husain, State Secretary and Deputy Chairman of SITRC; Teo Tien Hiong, CEO of SAINS; Puan Rashidah Bolhassan, CEO of Pustaka Negeri Sarawak; William Patrick Nyigor, Director of ICT Unit; and Austin Dimin Nyinyon, Principal Assistant Director of State Geospatial Centre.

Tan Sri George Chan hoped that such meetings will foster closer relation and partnership between the mass media and the management of the State Public Service ICT program. He added that such partnership are crucial in our quest and march towards the development of a knowledge-based society in Sarawak
