ZimacSilicon Technologies Sdn Bhd (ZST) recently signed an agreement contract with the Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam, to upgrade the library service at the Institut Teknologi Brunei (ITB) using Electronic Resource and Information Services (e-RIS).

ZST, a business partner of SAINS, will look into incorporating the design, supply, upgrading, installation, migration and commissioning of software and hardware for the implementation of an integrated e-RIS for ITB, a renowned educational institution in the country. This will also involve digitisation work for its archive collection and subscription to online databases.

Signing on behalf of the Ministry of Education was Mr. Lim Jock Cheng, Director of ICT, and witnessed by Dr. Hjh. Naemah Binti Hj. Basir, Acting Director of Institute of Technology Brunei. Meanwhile, signing for ZimacSilicon Technologies (ZST) was YB Dato Paduka H. Idris B. H. Abas, Managing Director of ZST, and witnessed by Mas Roslee B. YB DP H. Idris, Director of ZST.
