KUCHING: The MyOneStopSarawak (MOSS) website has been launched on Tuesday to replace Sarawak Online as the State government's new central website.

Launched by State Secretary Datuk Amar Abdul Aziz Husain at the presentation of awards for the Best State Government Agency Websites, the website's URL is www. myonestopsarawak.com. my.

Aziz said MOSS would be the new central portal site to host ail websites of State agencies but it would be more than just a central directory.

He said it would be the one-stop site for all matters relating to the State, including information publishing and online services and an important component of MOSS was the electronic bill and presentment (EBPP) system.

Explaining that the EBPP system enabled registered users to receive and pay their bills online, he pointed out that the State's policy on EBPP was for all its bills from all ministries, departments, local authorities and statutory bodies to be made available through the MOSS portal.

"All relevant State agencies are required to work with the ICT Unit (under the Chief Minister's Department) to register and make available their bills on the EBPP system," said Aziz.

He also explained that the new portal was in line with the State government's policy for all agencies to have a website of their own and to have them registered with the ICT Unit so that they could be accessed through a central portal.
