KUCHING: The new look Sarawak Convention Bureau (SCB) website was officially launched in conjunction with premiere screening of the Bureau's new winning video commercial at a function here yesterday.

The new look corporate website acts as a one stop destination portal for local and international meeting planners with information on the Bureau's services, Sarawak destination credentials, incentive programme ideas and tips on running successful conventions.

The website is linked to the Bureau's extensive database of meeting suppliers contained in the online business directory.

The directory enables planners to search for specific locations, venues and products information.

In another section of the website, planners and potential delegates can find details on forthcoming conventions and events.

The Bureau's new site was designed and built by Sarawak Information Systems Sdn Bhd (SAINS) and includes a sophisticated behind the scenes which content management system to enable quick and easy in-house updating as well as change management.

Suppliers willing to be listed or meeting planners wants to access any of the Bureau Services can find online or download forms in the relevant sections of the website at www.sarawakcb.com

In launching the new site, the Bureau's Chief Executive Officer, Mrs Jill Henry said, "We operate in a fast moving global environment and it is vitally important that our clients can access accurate and up to date information on our products and services at any time of the day or night. Now that the site is officially handed over, we will have the ability to upload and transit information around the world in minutes".
