KUCHING: MoBif Bhd, a leading local Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephony service provider, is eyeing the European and South American markets in its expansion drive.
Chief executive officer Kelvin Leong Kong Hoy said the company was confident of penetrating at least eight more countries in the next two years.
MoBif has established a global VoIP telephony network with 12 countries, including the US, Italy, El Salvador, China, Australia, India, Sri Lanka and the Philippines.
“We provide a cost-effective total solutions and we see strong demand for our products,” Leong said after the signing of a memorandum of understanding between MoBif and Sarawak Information Systems Sdn Bhd (Sains) yesterday.
Sains' key services and solutions are in consultancy, software development and integration, networking and systems engineering, project management and multimedia content development.
The two companies are collaborating in technology, research and development as well as service provision of VoIP-based telephony infrastructure and equipment in Sarawak, Sabah and Brunei.
