SAINS & Cisco join efforts in organising a network technology seminar for professionals on safeguarding businesses through improved network security solutions

Sarawak Information Systems Sdn Bhd (SAINS), in its continuous efforts to update the ICT knowledge of local professionals, teams up with Cisco Systems to share the latest development on safeguarding businesses through improved network security solutions.

To be attended by approximately 150 participants from various commercial and public sectors, this joint seminar is in-line with the Sarawak State Government’s aim to educate the public on the latest in the ICT industry.

SAINS establishes close alliances with best-of-breed world technology partners like Cisco Systems to package first-rate products and services into integrated, expandable and affordable solutions for our customers.

Two main technology papers are presented during the seminar. These papers focus on the trends, threats and the technology of Network Security and Wireless Networking Solutions. The highlights are security features such as monitoring and auditing services that can be embedded into existing IT infrastructures in order to detect network weaknesses and prevent network intrusion. During the seminar, wireless and network products are also being exhibited.
