"Libraries play a very important role in academic environment such as Swinburne University. It is our responsibility to ensure students and lecturers are able to access and fully utilise the course and reference materials. Therefore, getting a good library management system is critical towards achieving our goal and Angkasa is the one that we choose to power our library operations.

Angkasa OPAC is integrated with the Union Catalogue, a comprehensive database of catalogues contributed by various libraries in this region. This further extends our members' searches to other libraries for availability of collections besides those from our library through a single search.

On the technical side, one of the beauty of Angkasa is it can be implemented within our campus easily. Besides getting the PC to be browser-enabled & Internet ready, there is zero hardware maintenance required on our side related to Angkasa because its servers are securely hosted at SAINS 24-hour data centre and well-managed by professional operators. On top of this, there is a 24-hour call centre supporting the service at no extra cost, giving our IT administrator a peace of mind."
