We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Busiai Bin Seman as the new Chief Executive Officer of Sarawak Information Systems Sdn. Bhd, effective 1st July 2023.

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Busiai held the position of Chief Operating Officer of SAINS. With over 23 years of service in SAINS, Mr. Busiai brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role as well as a fresh perspective that, we believe, will lead SAINS to even greater heights.

The position was officially passed over by Dato Dr. Anderson Tiong Ing Heng, the outgoing SAINS CEO, in a handing over ceremony, held earlier today, that was witnesed by SAINS Chairman, Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi Dr. George Chan Hong Nam; SAINS CFO, Mr. Christopher Wong; and SAINS CTO, Mr. Grant Than.

Dato Dr. Tiong is moving on to take up the position of General Manager of the Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA), where we trust his vast experience from his years at SAINS as well as his expert leadership skills will allow SAINS and SMA to work together to support the Sarawak Government in its Digital Economy objectives and goal of transforming Sarawak into Malaysia’s digital powerhouse.
