SAINS presents Top Graduate Awards at PPKS/i-CATS Convocation

Four of the top graduating students of Sarawak Skills Development Centre (PPKS) International College of Advanced Technology Sarawak (ICATS) were presented with the SAINS Best Graduate Award at their recently held convocation ceremony. The award is presented annually as part of the PPKS/i-CATS Industry Awards and is a commitment by SAINS, in collaboration with PPKS/i-CATS, to recognize and support the emergence of bright talents in the field of ICT. The aim of these awards is to promote the growth of ICT talent among the young people of Sarawak.

This year, the recipients were Adeline Lee Tzia Tzia and Thian Wei Wei who both graduated with a diploma in Software Engineering, and Sandy Queen anak Michael and Alice anak Jelian who received their Malaysian Skills Diploma in Information Systems Administration.

Each recipient received a cash prize of RM1000 as well as a certificate of recognition.  

In addition to these awards, SAINS has previously sponsored similar awards for Curtin University Sarawak, University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak Campus, and Polytechnic Kuching Sarawak.
